Honeymoon & a few Wedding Picts

Spring break seems to be the best time to get away on a honeymoon! We planned to go to a cabin about 5mi north of Greer as our "get-away" spot. It was so perfect! Very homey and cute, with a great view outside just from the window.

However, this picture is not of our cabin...it was a house that had been abandoned. We went on a few walks and explored a creek area. We spent about half of the day just exploring and getting wet. It was perfect temp too, not too hot, but not too cold. I loved wadding my feet through the water as we went. We saw a few dams along the way that would have been perfect for swimming, but the water was a little too chilly for that. So we kept going till we found the house and barn. We figured that the house was built in the early 1900's for ranching. The barn was next to wide open fields, and lots of cattle. We loved it!

Obviously, there was still snow on the ground....and yep, we got stuck in it. haha 4 hrs. Basically, we were going on a hike that was supposedly really pretty, and so we started driving. Eventually the snow increase and worsened until we could no longer drive safely through it. So we turned around and headed back...this is when it happened. We drove through a thick patch and got stuck in a 4-wheel drive suburban... We tried to just put some thick branches under the wheels and that didn't work, so we decided to jack the car up and put them under and then get out...still didn't work. 4hrs and a lunch break later, we had shoveled out all of the snow with a metal rod, and our snow boots on, until all 4 tires were completely free. Then we had to jack the suburban high enough to pile many strong branches underneath so the tires wouldn't spit them out when they started to turn. By the time we got out we were tired and wanted a nap.

Wedding Picts...

Sorry it's taken me soo long to put some of these up. These are some that I had some fun editing/like in general. We're still waiting on the photographer to get the edited versions back...not sure when we'll have those, but these do for now.
